The Great Reflection – Pause to Rethink and Focus on Goals

As we get older, time seems to go by at such a faster pace.  What we thought was last month was actually last year.

Time becomes more precious with age and puts a rush on some of our goals as we fear that time may be running out.

Patience is certainly a virtue that we understand better as we get older, but may not have time for when trying to accomplish goals.

My goal last year was to finally make it on my own, to work for myself from home.

I had an achievable goal, a plan, and the motivation to make it happen.

Despite this and all good intentions, I was not able to achieve my goal.

Some might view this as defeat, I view it as a step back and a chance to reflect on what I was doing and what I can do better.

I continue to build an online presence and learn. My latest website is Small Dog Living, a website about, you guessed it, small dogs.

Never give up. Never acknowledge defeat. There are only setbacks in life as long as you keep pressing ahead and keep trying.
